The Kingdom of Nepal
Upon arriving in Kathmandu, the team is met by the expedition's Nepalese contingent. While many of the Nepalese crew are experienced trekking professionals, this is their first time to assist an expedition of this nature. Even in the country's capital, wheelchairs are a rare site, and today many of the Nepalese crew members will have their first encounter with a wheelchair. The team will spend the next 3 days in Kathmandu, exploring Nepal's culturally rich and colorful capital city, and preparing for the trek that lies ahead.
