Special Engagement Screening in Taos, New Mexico

"Team Everest: A Himalayan Journey" had a special engagement screening in Taos, NM at the beautiful Taos Center for the Arts. The screening was hosted by the University of New Mexico-Taos which, in the spirit of "Team Everest," seeks to embody teamwork throughout their community. UNM-Taos is committed to being an inclusive institution that takes great pride in its diverse student body and its community spirit. New York Premiere at the Exquisite Rubin Museum of Art

June 10th, 2007 marked the New York Premiere of "Team Everest: A Himalayan Journey" at Manhattan's exquisite Rubin Museum of Art: Art of the Himalayas. The Rubin is one of the finest museums of its kind, and it was an honor to screen "Team Everest" in the museum theater, where it was met with a standing ovation from the audience. Special thanks go to the staff, volunteers, and Tim McHenry at the Rubin Museum of Art for making the New York premiere such a special event.

World Premiere a Success in Seattle!

"Team Everest: A Himalayan Journey" enjoyed a successful world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival on May 26th and May 28th, 2007. The film was enthusiastically received by SIFF moviegoers in downtown Seattle's historic Egyptian Theatre. Audience members engaged in compelling Q&A sessions with Director Andy Cockrum, Expedition Leader Gary Guller, and team members Dinesh Ranasinghe, Riley Woods, and Matt Standridge. Composer George Oldziey was also in attendance. The Producers wish to thank the organizers, volunteers, and audiences at SIFF for a wonderful opportunity and an unforgettable experience.
