The Team
Nima Dawa Sherpa (37) - Nepalese climbing sirdar.
As the climbing sirdar for the expedition, Nima Dawa is in charge of day to day operations performed by the Nepalese support team. A long-time and close friend of team leader Gary Guller, the two have climbed many mountains together. While Nima Dawa hopes to eventually summit Mount Everest with Gary, he is also tasked with guiding the team safely to Everest Base Camp and keeping morale high—especially the morale of the hardworking porters and assistants. Keeping the support team satisfied may prove to be an even more daunting and difficult challenge than attempting the summit.
